What is the difference between an argument and a claim?

Just like in English cl we have to read an essay on A Midsummer Night's Dream and isolate the claims and arguments and I was just wondering if there is a difference. Sometimes my teacher likes to restate stuff to reinforce it so I'm not sure. Thanks!
