Question about the three guys, 1 hammer video?

i've just seen that video but to anyone who's seen it, do you know why the victim was lying on the floor like that to begin with. I thought maybe he was a tramp but apparently he was a normal man with a wife. Does anyone know why he was lying like that to begin with?
