"Tristan und Isolde": probably the greatest "love music" of all time. What's your thoughts about it?

I haven't seen it but I've heard performances of songs from it. It's magnificent. You've inspired me to rent it from the library and purchase it when I have the monetary means to! I read a review on the clical forum and it was magnificent, the one on the Met performance.
