Does this sound like dandruf on my guinea pig?

i just got the guinea pig last week. it hasnt come in contact with any other animal or other g-p. but the past few days ive noticed it scratching, ive seen it bite its back twice, in different spots, and these little whit specks at the end of its fur? its been eating and drinking normally. but its been acting a little more afraid tobe held-moore specifically to come out. its been having the normal shedding, doesnt come ut in clumps or anything. justg a stray hair here and there. what is itg and how to treat it w/o foing to a ve
