Can i shoot an airgun on my property?

Alright i live in mid illinois and i live in the suburbs, if my neighborhood has no rules against airguns can i fire the airgun, and illinois law says "Used in or on any private grounds or residence under cirstances when such air rifle is fired, discharged or operated in such a manner as not to endanger persons or property and then only if it is used in such manner as to prevent the projectile from ping over any grounds or space outside the limits of such grounds or residence"
